Features & Highlights of Movavi Video Editor Plus 2022: –
A Pleasing Interface
Starting a Project
Start your video project by pressing the Add Files button. Alternately, you can move media files from File Explorer or Finder. After adding the first file an overlay tutorial will show what each part of the interface does. To add a clip to the timeline, just double-click it. You can drag it around, or choose to add it to the current position, beginning, ending, or following this clip in the right-click menu. It’s very convenient.
Professionals might be unable to trim clips prior to when you add them to the timeline. However, it isn’t a major issue for amateurs. Similar to trimming options. There aren’t any such as slide, slip, and roll. You’re just trimming the ends or cutting clips. This isn’t likely to cause a lot of annoyance for novices. Cut clips in the timeline using moving their edges into them that snap the shorter, new clip to the next one within the timeline.
Correcting and Enhancing Videos
Movavi’s Filters mode lets you apply Adjustments, Blur, Color filters, Vignettes, and more effects. The program provides a good selection of sample video and audio, most of which it downloads after you click on them. A search box lets you find any of the effects or transitions.
The fun really begins at The Additional Tools part (which is changed from All Tools when you enter it). There, you will find the Stabilization, Overlays, Animation Chroma Key as well as Audio Tools. Its Animation section’s Advanced section is where you will find the only editing feature that is quite fine. Keyframe editing, which lets you define precisely where the effect should begin and end, is restricted to position, size as well as opacity, and rotation, however, it’s an advantage to the program’s ease of use. However, users who require absolute control over the effects and locations should turn at PowerDirector and Pinnacle Studio, which allow you to time each edit and effect using keyframes.
Movavi’s Montage Wizard lets you throw some media at the program and have it build a movie for you automatically, complete with a background soundtrack. You start by choosing Create Quick Video and adding your media. Then, you get a selection of templates like Family, Memories, and Travel. You see a preview of the template’s look and feel before you have to decide on using it. The last step is to choose the music mood you’re looking for before you can preview your video.
The program adds impressive titles to the beginning and the end of the film even though it’s not a lot customizable, it can do well with the least effort. It’s even able to match the music to the content and fill in the black bars that are created by shooting using a smartphone with the portrait orientation. After creating your project you can edit it using the full editor. You can then save it as is and upload it on YouTube and Vimeo.
Titles and Text
You get a plentiful choice of both tasteful and sassy titles, many with animation. As noted above, you can motion-track titles. Resizing them and moving them around the preview screen thankfully uses WYSIWYG—something not all editors are capable of. Of course, you get a wealth of font and color choices, and you can choose a background color and outline. Once you get a title looking to your taste, you may save it as a preset. Some of the titles sport basic animations like flyby and zoom.
